The Water and Energy Museum Visitor Center is located in Trepidò, in the municipality of Cotronei in Calabria, and is part of the Sila National Park.
It was established as part of an environmental redevelopment project of a building recovery area. In the new museum, the themes addressed offer visitors, through the use of multimedia and interactive technology, an overview of the park's villages, the flora and fauna of its protected areas, artisanal and gastronomic products, its water resources - lakes and rivers - and finally the use of renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic, solar-thermal, and biomass.
